What can neuromodulators (such as Botox) do for me?

    Wrinkles are caused by repetitive movement. Neuromodulators relax the muscles that they are injected into, causing less movement and, in turn, fewer finer lines and wrinkles.

How do Botox & other wrinkle relaxers work?

Botox and other neuromodulators work by relaxing the underlying muscles of the face, lessening the contraction of the overlaying skin and appearance of dynamic wrinkles.

What areas can I treat?

Botox and other wrinkle relaxes can treat areas such as:

  • Crow's feet: The lines that appear at the corners of the eyes when you smile, squint, or frown 
  • Frown lines: The vertical lines that appear between the eyebrows 
  • Forehead lines: The horizontal lines that appear on the forehead 
  • Bunny lines: The creases that appear on the nose when you sniff or smell something 

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on the product used (Botox or Daxxify) and the number of units used.

Our current pricing is:

  • Botox - $16/ Unit
  • Daxxify - $13/ Unit

20-30 units is typically required for each area (crow's feet, bunny lines, forehead lines, etc).

More units are often needed to treat more specialized areas, such as the masseter muscles and areas that are being treated for hyperhidrosis.

Does Botox work for hyperhidrosis?

Botox (botulinum toxin) temporarily blocks the release of acetylcholine, a chemical that stimulates sweat glands. This reduces sweating in the injected areas.

Areas that can be treated for hyperhidrosis include:

  • Underarms
  • Hands
  • Feet

How long do results last?

Results typically last between 3 to 6 months, depending on individual factors such as the area treated and your body’s response to the treatment.

We recommend coming in quarterly to maintain results.

Botox & Wrinkle Relaxers Overview

  • Before Your Appointment

    • Fill out your paperwork and let us know of any possible contraindications.
    • Avoid booking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • After Your Appointment

    • Avoid lying down for 4 hours after treatment, to ensure Botox® & Wrinkle Relaxers do not migrate.
    • Avoid strenuous exercise and other activities that make you sweat for 24 hours after treatment.
    • Avoid facials and facial massage for 2 weeks after treatment.

  • Results

    • Results may begin to appear in as little as two days, and should appear in full effect after 2 weeks.
    • You will see less movement and texture in the treated areas, giving a smooth, refreshed look.

  • Frequency

    • Depending on several factors, like metabolism and dosage, results can last between 3-6 months.
    • We recommend coming in on a quarterly basis to maintain your results.
