Consultation

You will meet with one of our providers to discuss your treatment goals and timeline. Our providers will let you know if this is the right procedure for you or suggest a different procedure that suits your needs better!

Treatment

To begin treatment, we first need to create your PRP or PRF. We draw a sample of blood from your arm and place it in a special centrifuge that spins the blood to separate the liquid plasma from the platelet-rich portion that we use for treatment.

Your PRP or PRF is used for your treatment. PRP or PRF can be injected into the treatment area, much like filler, or applied topically during another procedure, such as micro-needling (often referred to as a vampire facial).

Recovery

PRP and PRF have minimal downtime. For the first one to five days you may experience slight swelling, bruising, and soreness in the treated area.

Follow Up

Depending on the treatment and desired area your provider may recommend completing a series of treatments to achieve optimal results. Your provider will schedule you for a check up four to six weeks after your procedure to check on the treated area and discuss any further treatment needs.

Prep for you appointment

Before Treatment

  • Stop using retinol at least 10 days before treatment
  • Wait to book your treatment if you have had any other facial treatments done in the last 14 days.
  • If you have a sunburn or fresh tan (real or sunless) wait two weeks to receive treatment.

Aftercare

  • Limit sun exposure for 1 week after treatment, and wear sunscreen daily to protect your skin.
  • You’ll notice dark spots rise to the surface of your skin within 1-2 days. This is a sign that the treatment is working! Allow them to flake off on their own over the next 1-2 weeks to prevent hyperpigmentation.

Timeline & Follow Up

  • We recommend an initial series of 3 treatments, spaced 6 weeks apart, unless otherwise directed by your provider.
  • Your provider will give you personalized instructions for follow up treatments, as well as advice on how to get the most out of your treatment and meet your skin goals!
